Shell Window 
Designed to eliminate leg-numbing material from the shell of the saddle.

Centerline Channel

DuraStrip
An Anti-Puncture belt composed of crushed Kevlar that stretches the circumference and tread width of Freedom tires. 

Aramid Bead
Provides quality bead-seat characteristics and a lightweight solution to cable and wire beads.

Siping
A small incision in a tire’s tread that creates more working edges.  More working edges yields an increase in overall traction.

Double-Butted Spokes
Premium level spokes that offer lightweight, stiff and durable characteristics to a wheel.

Sidewall Brake-Wear Indicator
Offered on all of the Freedom wheels and 6 of the 7 Freedom rims – it is a groove in the braking surface that, when it no longer exists, indicates that the rim needs to be replaced due to sidewall wear from the use of rim brakes.
