Demand Freedom

Freedom offers the best price point brand solution in pavement bicycle components. Freedom is owned and operated by WTB in Marin County, California, with WTB providing cutting-edge design and world-class customer service. Freedom addresses the global issue of oil dependency and actively works toward a brighter, more sustainable future. Along with WTB and its sister non-profit, Transportation Alternatives for Marin (TAM), Freedom has gained local, state and federal awareness of bicycle safety, facilitation, planning, infrastructure and education. To further advocate bicycles as a means of transportation and recreation, Freedom allocates a percentage of gross profits PLUS valuable human resource towards the realization of safer, non-motorized transportation infrastructure.

From entry-level to high-end, the entire line of Freedom components focuses on a mode-share shift from cars to bicycles with comfort, performance and affordability in mind. Freedom utilizes top industry manufacturers and its products are competitive in both price and weight. Each of Freedom’s seven models of rims and three wheelsets is foremost designed to be durable, overcoming one of the biggest concerns in the world of road, ATB, city, trekking, comfort and hybrid bicycles. Freedom’s wide range of saddles combines the latest innovations in anatomical design with a broad color palette making the line comfortable and appealing to virtually any cyclist. The tire line consists of four models available in a variety of sizes all with intention of making cycling as enjoyable and safe as possible.

Freedom does not expect the whole world to collectively drop its car keys and switch to cycling. It merely hopes to encourage potential bike riders through well-designed, enticing components at a welcoming price.
